Stable pendulum grinding
Four roller assemblies swing outward under centrifugal force. The grinding pressure is generated mechanically, keeping output stable across long shifts.
CRRM SERIES · NIGERIA READY
A dependable pendulum grinding system for Nigeria's limestone, barite, kaolin and dolomite processors. Designed by Cronus, a Guilin Mining Machinery company with more than 50 years of manufacturing experience.
THE COMPANY BEHIND THE MILL
Cronus is the international-facing company of Guilin Mining Machinery Co., Ltd. Founded in 1973, the group has spent more than 50 years designing, casting, machining and commissioning grinding equipment for mineral processors.
Our engineers work across the full line: feed preparation, grinding, classification, dust collection, conveying and controls. That means a 4R3220 proposal is matched to your ore and your operating reality in Nigeria, not pulled from a catalogue.
CREDENTIALS THAT TRAVEL WITH THE MACHINE
HOW THE 4R3220 WORKS
Material enters through the feeder, is crushed and ground between the rollers and ring, then classified by the turbine. Qualified powder is carried to the cyclone collector while coarse particles return for another pass.

A turbine classifier separates finished powder from coarse particles. Adjust the classifier speed to set the target 80-400 mesh range.
The high-pressure fan drives a closed air circuit. Cyclones collect product efficiently and reduce dust escape around the mill.
Roller sleeves, ring, blades and bearings are designed for inspection and replacement without rebuilding the complete machine.
MATERIALS & INDUSTRIES
From construction minerals to chemical fillers, the 4R3220 helps Nigerian operators convert local resources into consistent, saleable powder.
For cement extenders, putty, tile adhesive and calcium carbonate lines.
Controlled fineness for drilling mud and industrial fillers.
Clean, adjustable powder for coatings and ceramics.
Reliable preparation for beneficiation and agglomeration.
Stable throughput for agriculture and industrial processing.
Fine powder for boards, plasters and blended materials.
FIELD EXPERIENCE
Selected Cronus installations show the same pattern we plan for Nigeria: robust civil works, clean airflow, and a layout that operators can actually maintain.

Final power, air volume and wear configuration are confirmed after a material test. The reference values below are for a standard 4R3220 system.
| Model | 4R3220 | Roller quantity | 4 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Max feed size | ≤ 35 mm | Finished fineness | 80-400 mesh |
| Capacity | 1-80 t/h | Feed moisture | ≤ 6% |
| Material hardness | Mohs ≤ 7 | System type | Closed air circuit |
| Main machine size | 2250 × 2250 × 1850 mm | Main machine weight | Approx. 5,320 kg |
| Classifier | 4R3220 turbine | Collection | Double cyclone |
*Capacity depends on feed hardness, moisture, fineness, grinding index and plant configuration.
MAKE THE RIGHT FIRST CHOICE
Crushers are excellent at reducing lump size. They are not designed to deliver a controlled, saleable powder. The 4R3220 closes that gap in one engineered circuit.
| Decision point | 4R3220 Raymond Mill | Hammer crusher | Jaw crusher |
|---|---|---|---|
| Output target | 80-400 mesh, adjustable | Coarse to medium aggregate | Coarse primary reduction |
| Classification | Integrated turbine classifier | Screen-based, less precise | Not integrated |
| Dust control | Closed air circuit + cyclones | Needs extra dust system | Needs extra dust system |
| Powder quality | Consistent and saleable | Broader size distribution | Not a powder process |
| Best fit | Mineral powder, fillers, building materials | Soft to medium crushing | Hard rock primary crushing |
WEAR PARTS & SPARES
Cronus supplies original wear parts from its own casting and machining network. You get the right fit, traceable metallurgy and a practical price for ongoing operation.
Balanced assembly for even grinding pressure and predictable wear.
Cast for the abrasion profile of your feed, with clear replacement guidance.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
A good project starts with the right questions. Here are the ones Nigerian plant owners ask us most often.
Ask a project engineer →It grinds non-flammable, non-explosive minerals up to Mohs 7 hardness and up to 6% moisture, including limestone, calcite, barite, kaolin, dolomite, gypsum, bauxite, coal gangue and more.
Reference capacity is 1-80 t/h. Actual output depends on material hardness, moisture, feed size, target mesh and the selected fan, classifier and dust collection layout.
Yes. The turbine classifier speed and airflow are tuned to deliver 80-400 mesh. We confirm the operating window with a sample test or your existing lab data.
Both are possible. We can supply the main mill or a complete line with crusher, bucket elevator, feeder, classifier, cyclone collector, fan, ducting and electrical controls.
The main machine reference footprint is 2250 x 2250 mm. The full footprint is planned around your feed, storage, access, local building code and maintenance clearance.
We size the motor and electrical package around your grid conditions. Nigerian projects are commonly reviewed for voltage stability, generator compatibility and dust-safe cable routing.
Lead time depends on configuration and production schedule. After confirming material and layout, we issue a technical-commercial proposal with a realistic shipping window.
Yes. Cronus can provide foundation drawings, installation guidance, remote or on-site commissioning, operator training and a recommended first-year spare-parts kit.
Wear life varies with feed abrasiveness, hours and product target. We use your test data to estimate a replacement cycle and keep critical parts available.
Yes. Send a representative sample or a complete material profile. We will confirm grindability, fineness, expected capacity and the right dust collection approach.
Warranty terms are stated in the project contract. Support includes remote troubleshooting, process tuning, spare-parts supply and service guidance throughout the machine life.
Share your material, moisture, feed size, target mesh, desired t/h, power conditions and site country. Our engineer will return a practical first layout and checklist.
